The lads are drooling on the farm plots waiting for a plant to pop-up. They're all starving! It must be done...



Shortly afterwards Vendix finishes up a large room within the ground and we start moving all the workshops indoors.
Trev ran around cackling. He set-up a line of bridges linked to a lever to smash anyone entering the fortress. He gave the bird to the penis towers in distance.

We'll engrave a slab soon for the poor yak, but things are actually coming together! Some migrants actually came, which is odd. I wonder if the drunk king cat-slapped them too, or if it was their choosing.


I get tired of the drunks ramblings so I send him off to the recently-thawed river to fish for food. To my surprise he's getting good at it.
Our new nurse and a blacksmith named McMagma are slowly getting our metal industry running. We've crafted more picks and axes, so our Dr. who continues to moo like a yak, is assisting Vendix. The two odd pair found an underground cavern.

Woo, I get to engrave slabs for yaks! This is the best day ever!

I also want a big underground chamber where I can eat, sleep and work, surrounded by the slabs (crafted by me!) of those who have perished.
Preferably with a drawbridge at the entrance, so my chamber can be sealed off forever if necessary.
