Civilization 4: Wait & keep or ask for a refund?
« on: February 13, 2013, 07:02:24 am »

So, you probably know that Civilization 4 simply refuses to work on my computer.

Now, Steam support has really given up on it:

Hello,

A staff member has replied to your question:

Hello Miauw,

I apologize for the inconvenience. We would be happy to assist you with returning this preordered title. We can either add the amount instantly to your Steam Wallet for future Steam purchases or refund the purchase back to the original payment method (may take 3-5 business days to process). Please let us know how you would like to proceed.

Now, I would like to ask you guys for advice on what I should do: Ask for a refund and buy another game, or keep Civ 4 complete until I get a computer that will run it?

Refund. You can always get Civ again whenever you get that computer.

Refund it. Things can only go down in price.

I bought it in the christmas sale, but I guess i'll just buy it again in one if I ever get a machine that won't refuse to run it.

E: Alright, I got a refund. Thanks for the advice.
