Tournament? I love tournaments! What kind?

Magic the Gathering. More specifically, I'm going to Grand Prix Charlotte.  :D

Good luck, Planeswalker. Unfortunately, I don't do gaming tourneys, or I'd probably be right there with ya.

for the love of god can we all make sure we're in tune before recording aswell. I'm all for 'vibes' and 'feel' but sharp/flat notes are gross to anyone

That's going to be a little hard for the glockenspiel because its appeal is that it's just SLIGHTLY out of tune all the time. And that would be difficult to correct because it's solid pieces of metal.

I prefer drop Q myself... Haha, so what I'm doing is creating a MIDI piano file using my MIDI keyboard, 'cause I'm at school and couldn't find justification for bringing my grand piano... It's going to be roughly three and a half minutes long, in the key of C, 4/4 time and 120 bpm. Cool. So, I'll upload it tomorrow most likely, so how does the next person want the file? .WAV? Just the MIDI? The Pro Tools file? Let me know :)

I'll be tuning to a 440Hz A, as an American brass player. Does that work for everyone else? (It varies somewhat across continents.)

440hz is standard unless you're attempting to recreate classical music, and you're really into it. It's also the only frequency number I know by heart.

I'm pretty sure Remalle wanted us to be transferring .mp3 files -- which makes my inner audio engineer weep bloody tears -- but .WAV would be acceptable I think if you couldn't bounce down to mp3. Just remember to use something like wetransfer.com to move them around because they are HUGE. Not everyone here has protools, so PT files are likely not acceptable as an option.

The audiophile in me refuses to submit to mp3. Currently uploading to my bands mediafire account, because i'm too lazy to make my own.

I chose mp3 since it's a fairly universal standard.  Is there a better file format available that's accepted by just about all music software available?
Also what instrument did you play, Glloyd?
