Well, not that I can think of, we don't really have very much prepwork to do(I don't believe we have any spellcasters that require them to prepare spells). I'm not gonna speak for the rest of us tho

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Well since I can't think of anything you guys might want to do, so have a description of the temple, and roll your spot checks!

You come around a bend in the trail, and find a large ruined structure nestled in the swamp. It does indeed look like a temple, though it's in quite disrepair, with several sections caved in. The building has an expansive main first floor, with two wings centered around some sort of central room. It also has a small second floor jutting from the back, with two circular structures joined to a main rectangular one. Rising from the center of this is a single tower, with a traditional sloping roof. There is a cobbled courtyard in front of the main entrance, ringed by a spiked fence. A hole in the spikes makes for entrance to the front of the courtyard.

Listen is second, right?
You don't see much, but you can faintly hear the sounds of a battle of some sort in side. You hear a very loud roar...
(also edited the description because I forgot the courtyard part.

You spot a large hole in the roof of the central area.

"Hey, there's a large hole in the roof.  Should we experience no enemies prior to getting there, I can climb up and take a look.  Any thoughts?"
Also, how tall is the building?

The first floor is a good 20 feet high, and the main central area, being domed, is about 50 feet high at least.

"Sounds like a good idea my friend! Thing you can scout ahead though and find out what that fight is about?"

Bersiano gives a quick nod, realizing his first real opportunity to shine.  His compatriots need him, and he can't fail on his first test.

Scout ahead, darting from cover to cover when available. Remain as sneaky as possible, but keep one party member in my sights.

Hide and M.S.=25

Any other checks needed?

Bersiano, you peer over the side of the hole, and see an Old Black Dragon squaring off with a gray skinned elf.
What's the dragon's spot?

... I think I would need a lot more information than you are willing to give for me to answer that in any capacity...  plus I don't want any surprises ruined :P

Edit: If you don't have skill points set, they get (6+int)*HD+3 skill points.
