There is a town, in the land of Lelfordil, known as Rorickshaw. It is a fairly small town, with an emphasis on logging and hunting, situated near the East Ardonian Way. The kingdom of Ardon is here, built in the warm, wet, temperate southern area of the continent of Krisk. There is a bustling inn in that town, known as The Hasty Harlequin. In that inn a group of four travelers, warriors and heroes all, sat down together. They came to look for adventure, for a sating of their thirsts for glory, power, merit, and gold, though they may have come for different reasons.

Alzar smiles at his companions at this table, ale in hand, raising a toast now and then. "Tis a bright day today! I feel we'll have the start of a grand adventure soon! For glory, honor, and a fat purse!"

(You're going to have to figure out the first adventure yourselves by the way. I have it ready though.)

"Ah. Wha' a glorious day i' is."
Jon sits back, raising his hand with the toast. He had come a long way from the foolish and vain boy he was a few short years ago, but he was no saint just yet...But he tried. And that's what's important for now, Jon supposes.

Bersiano sits back in his chair, saying little but acknowledging the words his compatriots are saying.  His takes a swig of his ale, watching and waiting to see anything out of the normal.  But that was his life.  Waiting and watching, giving a helping hand when necessary.  Although his actions were not always legal, they were always in the best interest for those who couldn't help themselves.

Alzar gets up to go pick up another round from the bartender. "More of your ale please. Say, you wouldn't happen to know of any unusual happenings or work four fine adventurers can handle?"

(RPG convention #1: ALWAYS ask the bartender for information)

Tegrin leans back in his chair, his scars catching the light in the tavern.

"I have to admit, I wasn't expecting to find a group like you folk around here."

[germaina]

"I can't speak for the others, but I enjoy the travel.  Kind of nice to not be alone for a bit."

"I know what you mean. I'm used to wandering alone, but food and company is always good for a change."

[Remuthra]

"Well now, you boys look like prime adventurers. Off on a quest?"

[germaina]

"You know of something that needs doing?"

Between quests right now. Really, we've only just met, but I feel we'll be having many glorious adventures together! Though, the jobs around here seem pretty sparse..."


(I think he was responding to me talking to the bartender...)
