Pressure plates hysteresis
« on: February 11, 2013, 11:47:56 am »

It's hard to build self-regulatory fluid circuit because pressure plates dribble like a jelly, so I've got an idea! What if pressure plate turns on at for example 6/7, and turns off at 3/7.

Im all for this with the ability to put other things as a requirement EX
 Bridge A is Extended/Lowered >pressure plate is activatable||
 Bridge A is retracted/Raised > Pressure plate is not activatable||

I would hope this sort of system is planned. Probably to be implemented in a mechanics related arc.

I am in agreement with spyton, but only if the initial state is setable at build time-- EG, if the bridge is down when the plate is linked, then the plate raises the bridge.  If the bridge is up when the plate is linked, then the plate lowers the bridge.

Bonus if you can have 2 plates controlling the same bridge, for each condition.
