Still believing in paying Greece to become the one single triage center for the whole of the Refugee crisis will kill tons of birds with one big stone.

All courts and care centers will need people to run. These all costs money but at the same time promotes spending. Just make sure that people who are granted asylum can slowly go on to somewhere else and integrate into Europe.

Hey, I definitely agree SOMETHING has to be done. I mean, something other than just shutting the doors, covering with blanket and hoping someone else will take care of it. Processing all this people in orderly fashion and a temporal shelters all with some over-reaching long-term social plan is all we need. I only wish it would only be this simple.

So in latest news I've heard Merkel apparently said Germany will take in 1,000,000 immigrants... but countries currently holding them/barring them entry to EU/what have you will have to continue doing so for one year. Can't find any article about that though, currently, I just heard "it was in the news". What I CAN find is the Germany expects 1 mill immigrants to come in by the end of the year. This kinda sounds more correct.

Germany going above and beyond. They'll need to create about 996,000,000 of those refugees themselves though because there won't be enough coming from Syria to meet that kind of demand.

That's easily done: Deport all your citizens and immediately grant them asylum again. Repeat at maximum frequency. Shouldn't take long if you manage at least one cycle per hour.
