This is one of those dangerous situations that comes off as a bit ridiculous and funny if you think about it; an island full of Russian, British, Turkish, Cypriot and EU soldiers, spies and shills.

On another note the oil price is set to drop further in the near future, especially if Iran gets it's deal. That might be problematic.

Guys it's a ruse, Greece has a plan to use Russian military assets for its bailout. The plan is this.
Step 1: Russian military base on Crete. 
Step 2: step 2 claim Russians are removing kebab.   
Step 3: 'local militia' take control of base citing protection of Turkish Crete population. 
Step 4: sell off new Russian toys to turkey
Step 5: bulldoze military bases and plant feta trees
