Incidentally GJ, I would recommend sock-shaped confectioneries instead of actual socks. Tastes better, less deadly. Or maybe a cookie you can technically wear as a sock or somethin'. Someone should bake one of those. More edible sock recipes in the world can only be a good thing.
Flambéing them and you'll have !!sock!!s!

Urgh, Conservative majority.

The only reason I can even conceive that could cause this would be panic voting to due to all the 'Labour-SNP' coalition propaganda. Dammit -_-

Coalition plus tuition fees. Both drove the student/protest vote away, while UKIP drew away a lot of the protest aspect in seats where the students mattered less.
They specifically promised to contest any rise in tuition fees, and then voted for a rise in tuition fees.  When you betray your base that badly you deserve to be eviscerated.

Three party leaders resigning in one day... ooft.
Woah. That sounds like something out of prophesy. A prophesy about Scotland being awesome, I'd imagine.

What about woman of woman born? :D

I suppose you guys could practically parliament vote Scotland into independence now?

Protip for people who have just lost a daring wager: There are things like edible napkins and tablecloths – you can fashion them into socks, hats, and other apparel.

In unrelated political news, the MPs of our up-and-coming conservative coalition (NCP+Centre+TF) want more cops and faster climate change.

You Britons can probably expect similar antics from your new Tory government.

Because nothing's better for Finland's future than turning it from an already wet, mosquito-infested marshland of a country into a hot, damp, malaria-mosquito-infested marshland.

Where in Finland are you from, Quiamus?

East. Much trees, very moonshine.

Currently living in the city, though.

EDIT:

...wet, mosquito-infested marshland of a country...

I'd like to point out that all of our lovely marshes have been drained and turned into pulpwood plantations.

Trees, trees, fucking trees everywhere!

Oh hey guys, general election, what's going on--
*stares*
What the fuck, Britain.
At least we can hope that this is when the Tories fall apart. The second term is always when things fall apart and it's not as if they had a sterling first go.

It ain't like the parliament's the sovereign determiner of politics. It reflects more than I think it casts its own light. It reflects the passivity and retreat of the Left, this Right ascendancy. But it's not all so bad. You can enjoy music.

Today is not a happy day. Tories spew excuses and fear and the populace apparently laps it right up. And the entire time Labour just let it happen.

Nice! I have woken up and looked at the results of elections in UK - nice victory for Tories, UKIP the third most popular party in UK and Labour with LibDems imploding! What more can man want from life? Hopefully this means at least 5 more years of recovering economy for UK.

Finland elections results are also nice, I always liked Finland and True Finns for their strong stance against Greece in debt crisis.
