Did I ever post the story about my dad and the letter xi?

No-one properly writes the letter xi, everyone just makes a squiggly line. But when my dad went to university to become a physicist, he wanted to write that letter properly, dammit! So he basically started doing calligraphy every time he calculated stuff. Soon, he got fed up with taking so long and started making simplifications: Took out a loop here, straightened a line there... Slowly it became better, more manageable, until one day he had arrived at a truly elegant symbol: Still strongly reminiscent of the original, but easy and quick to write - and elegant-looking to boot!

And then someone looked over his shoulder and asked: "Siggi, why are you using SS runes in your calculations?"

This is the third malfunction of the prototype so far from the test on the parade i think

But the improvements in the new tanks and most important it's crew department is huge move in the right direction and thing that was not done for few decades now, how big the changes are. But normally as a ukraine (not counting as the ones that are rebelling against your government) you will just post and see negative things.

Is this a joke? It had better be. National liberation is not national socialism, and neither is it in conflict with socialism proper (as opposed to national socialism). There are nations under imperial rule (like Finland) that ought not to be. If you seriously want a socialism with imperialism, maybe you should hook up with Kautsky and his ultraimperialism. Nationalism is not strictly categorically to be opposed, and neither is national liberation strictly nationalist. You are seriously confused -- or do you think that India's liberation was a Nazi thing? Jesus.

If you think socialism is the worst of the USSR and of Nazism, then you have a very confused and unfortunate view of socialism.

Actually, it kind of was. Nazi did a lot in order to help India's liberation, and Ghandi has even wrote a letter to Hitler praising him and scouring England for violently resisting Nazi Germany.

Gandhi wasn't the Indian liberation. Gandhi is promoted, sure, and not least because he wasn't a very staunch opponent of imperialism, oppression, exploitation. This argument in favour of national liberation being Nazist is about as serious as Nazis being Hindu because of the swastika, or the other way around. It's complete nonsense. As for Nazi support... I can't say too much about that, since I haven't immersed myself too much in that aspect of them, but the basic idea of imperialist policy is not just propping yourself up, it's also attacking your enemies and making them less powerful. Divide and conquer is a very basic maxim. There's also the side of this that perhaps the Nazis wanted a nation sympathetic to them, allies are valuable. But does any of this mean that the liberation was national-socialist in character? I am not convinced.

I was about to delete or otherwise edit my reply because this is a complete non-engagement with history and facts, but I'll stick to the other component of that plan even if my deletion would be too late now. If you want to understand why national socialism and genuine socialism are different (and before you bring up any stupid No True Scotsman arguments, I'll shoot you with a fallacy fallacy), study them. And by study I mean even a preliminary look-up on Wikipedia will show you some very real differences between the ideologies of say, scientific socialism and national socialism, not to mention the actual bloody politics.

I probably should've added a smiley after that message, because you seemed to have interpreted it in a way that I have not anticipated. No, I did not mean that national liberation was literally a Nazi thing, I was just saying it because you've picked an oddly specific example and I wanted to correct you in an ironic manner.

Also you must have one hell of a company up there if you even thought that someone could say that national socialism and normal socialism are the same things.
