Do that, mainiac :D

Maybe we could start up another Ukraine thread with a really lock-happy OP. If Toady approves, that is...

Let's just start a thread and preemptively lock it.

If anyone wants to post they have to submit the post to review process.  There will be a brief three month review period during which anyone thread participant is allowed to veto.  Said veto can only be overridden by a 4 judge majority on a 5 judge review panel.  Now I know this sounds slow but there will be an expedited process whereby posts can be fast tracked by unanimous consent of the panel in which case posts will be allowed after only one month.

I think that should be enough to let the thread last for three or four months before getting shut down.

So, basically, when the first posts start getting posted, that's when it gets shut down? :P

At this rate, how soon will the US be in Eurovision?

Because Australia is about as European as we are. lol

Australia joining is only for this year, and they won't host if they happen to win. I know, I know, what a shame. Let's hope they bring something entertaining to the stage (my only criteria for the show).

It's a shame we're not allowed to discuss Ukraine because I was about to say that the East Ukrainian devolution settlement would be a good model for Scotland to follow. It does, however, make a mockery of supporting a peaceful process like we did rather than terrorism. They're potentially getting some kind of veto on Ukrainian foreign policy and we get more control over road signage. All we needed to do was set up the People's Republic of Dundee and get Russian backing.

But anyway, i look forward to the next few months of UK general election campaigning. Should we have a dedicated thread?
