I seem to remember the images were from, or at least labelled as being from, either CNN or Fox News.

That second picture... Is in fucking Pakistan. They should at least know where that is, sheesh.

Umm, the second picture? That looks like the Ukraine to me. A quick google search shows the issue with it is that Slovyanks is right next to Karamtorsk, not all the way down there. Which I believe is he issue, if i could take 5 seconds to google it, lord knows someone at CNN is paid enough to check.

You mean the third one, and yeah, it would take all of five seconds to check. Or use Google Earth even.

The one showing Ukraine in Pakistan though, lol...... No idea what went wrong there.

I feel like that Pakistan graphic guy was just like "Ukraine? Fuck, uh, Russia's like, over here, right? Ukraine's on their border.. why didn't they put country names on this.. Fuck, probably here or something.."

It's very possible they just did a quick mock-up with a random image to show the guys in charge and those just went "oh yeah that looks great, we'll just use thst one" or stressed so much they forgot to make the real image.

Basically it's the fault of removing proofreaders from the office circle-of-life.
