I boggle at how Belgium can possibly even have a functional government with it's fractures, but apparently SOMEHOW it manages to work.

First do no harm.

The Belgian government, like the American government, has been so divided in recent years that very few major policy shifts have been possible.  While other countries have been shooting themselves in the feet, the Belgians have been too busy squabling over the gun to pull the trigger.

NATO spokesmen say they fear Russia's call for action at an emergency meeting last night of the UN security council, is a prelude to Russian invasion of Ukraine labelled 'humanitarian intervention'.

Yeah, why would anyone wage a world war over the Ukraine o.o?
How fitting.

My comment wasn't entirely serious :P
The one you didn't quote, that is.

But if yo think about it, Russia and Nato starting World War III just to deny the other something relatively meaningless is pretty much the classic WWIII-starter.

Well, I watched one DNR (or LNR) video and they claim that their intelligence noticed F-22 at Ukrainian airbases. Also they claim that they were attacked by Apaches :D
And, of cause, Abrams tanks are in Ukraine too.

The worst part that many will actually believe in that kind of nonsense

Quote
Russia's President Vladimir Putin signed a decree banning or limiting imports of agricultural products from countries which have imposed sanctions on Russia, the Kremlin's press service said on Wednesday.

Putin ordered his government to come up with a list of goods to be banned for imports into Russia and to last one year, the Kremlin said.

Hope Russians will like new prices for food

I'm calling it now that when the bullet actually reaches Russia's collective foot, it will be the fault of "The West."

eh, if it wasn't russia doing it i'd actually be quite glad

no country should have to rely on food imports to get by, such a situation invariably leads to famine when harvests half across the globe fuck up for random reasons

though right now yes i feel they are shooting themselves in the foot
