I was thinking of the other plane.  It's a bad time to be flying in Ukraine.

Uhoh, there was a Malaysia jet flying over Ukraine that got lost contact with. It just HAPPENS to be a Malaysia air, but at least it's mostly land and the Black Sea is far smaller than the Indian Ocean.

I don't think it has anything to do with it being Malaysia Air and that airline just had the bad luck to have it happen to their plane, again. Also, it's along the Ukraine-Russia border.

Whoever shot that down, IF it got shot down, has hell to pay.

UR is correct. The figurehead of the pro-Russian rebels is celebrating the shooting down of a Ukrainian AN-26 plane.

In the area Torrez just downed plane An-26, lying somewhere in the mine "progress." Also warned - do not fly in "our sky." And here is the confirmation of the next video "ptichkopada." Bird fell for waste heap, the residential sector is not caught. Civilians are not injured. And also have information about the second downed aircraft, like the Su.

It may be that the "AN-26" was actually the Malaysian airliner, or perhaps the "second downed aircraft". That said an AN-26 has been confirmed to have been shot down over Lugansk. The bodies of the pilots have been found.

This decade has not been kind to Malaysia Airlines.

I will never fly with that company. Ever.

Owlbread, that link about the AN-26 was from the 14th, which has been confirmed previously. The reports are that they claimed a second one today.

Going by this story that plane was at 6,500m, already higher than the MANPADs can reach. Which kinda belies that top quote.


Getting definite eyewitness confirmations at the crash site now, confirming both bodies and the identity of the plane.
