So, Russian (or whatever) Tanks are moving freely on the roads and our army does nothing because our new brilliant supreme commander gave an order to not use artillery and aviation (it is not a public order but it is obvious, Ukrainian artillery is silent and aviation isn't flying, easy to see from all eyewitnesses all over the Internet. Everything stopped)  That will cause huge casaulities among Ukrainians but who cares? Poroshenko wants peace! He wants a reputation of a peacemaker!

Good job, Ukraine, electing a diplomat and businessmen during a war is a great move. Universal suffrage is awful during a wartime. Period

Some people on Reddit have identified the model of these tanks - they claim that these tanks are T-64BV. Russia doesn't have any T-64s in service, but Ukraine does.

Earlier, pro-Russian forces claimed they had captured three Ukrainian T-64 tanks.

There are a few reports of the Donetsk Republics leaders car getting blown up, BUUUUT, the only sources are Russian, there aren't any from other sources, not even Ukranian sources which would definetly have reported it. However, it's only been an hour since it supposedly happened and it's midnight over there, so, give them a little time.

How old are those tanks? They could be old tanks, but whether they are old or not, that is still a huge facepalm to the Ukranian forces.....

They could still be Russian tanks since according to wiki, the T-64s largely stayed in Russia, Ukraine, and other former soviet sattelites.

Looks like the guys car really did get bombed. Cue the finger pointing by both sides. If the Ukraine government really did resort to using car bombs in an attempted assassination, that is low, really, really low.....

Still though, given how opinion would quickly go negative if the Ukrainian government was ever found out to be behind it (and I'm NOT saying that they are), one has to wonder just who is behind it. Rival faction?

Meanwhile, the west is distracted by Iraq going to hell in a handbasket.
