Two parties from Europe ally to reduce Europe's influence?

On a side note, that might a significant problem. Together, they might get enough votes, and then they'd become a full faction. Meaning they'll get representatives, or even be head of several commissions. Also, they get additional funding, offices and publicity.

It's a paradox that Eurosceptics parties do best in European elections. The silver lining is that previous attempt to form such a block either foundered or proved ineffective.

Well, there was Identity, Tradition, Sovereignty and Independence/Democracy, both of which only failed due to membership losses.

Well, that's to be expected for a purely populist party without some significant bigtime backers - our best hope is that they'll just degenerate into an infighting mess as soon as they hove a power option.

Apparently David Cameron is still trying to push internet ensorship. Some more. Under the guise of making it harder to find child abuse images.
Not at all like it's just a way to get people to back much wider internet censorship that he already wanted, no not at all.

European parliament is pushing for having Brussels as it's main and only seat.

Truly, no one (except France) is defending the current system of moving the entire bureaucracy twice a month, but it's been defined  in one of the treaties, which makes it very hard to change. Basically, the parliament has nothing to say about it.

But then, nor have the people he is trying to get votes from with this "measure to nothing".
