The best insurrection ever. The Moros often had Communist sympathies though.

Sultanate of sulu? Aren't those the guys that tried to invade Malaysia with a score of kalashnikov and two inflatable boats?

Not sure what your talking about here but part of the Sabah region belongs to the Sultan of Sulu. Depending on what version of the treaty you read, its either the region ceded(British version) or its leased(Sulu version).

Oh yeah, Malaysia also pays the heirs of Sulu so Philippines is happy to leave that area to Malaysia.

Out of curiosity, how does your part of the world see the advance of technology?

Majkero, if we were able to figure out what Novel meant in a given situation he just wouldn't be Novel anymore.

If your asking about Asia in general, all I have to say that there are several countries here with better internet infrastructure already and India is a major source of labor for telecommunication.

If your asking about Philippines specifically, people are more internet savvy and better than english than Americans. Texting is also a major part of communication on all levels society before texting was considered "cool".

What do you think we think of technology?

Oh, I'm not after the degree of development. I was wondering how worried your part of the world is about where it might go, and where it is for that matter. I was curious as to whether it had broached the general consciousness to the same degree it has here.

Oh, that. Not sure about the other countries but we're technically still industrializing. Most of the worries are jobs, education and having food when the storms hit.

I'm pointing out that "better than english than Americans" isn't grammatically correct.
