Loud Whispers, you have to remember that Romani culture despises authorities for a reason. You can't just go "it's their own fault" without putting it into historical context.

Loud Whispers, you have to remember that Romani culture despises authorities for a reason.
That reason no longer exists; that is known to them, at least on an abstract level; ergo it's for the most part their fault that they impede the betterment of their own lives. And I believe the historical context has been mentioned and acknowledged often enough: Just because Western Europe has a history of invading Russia, you wouldn't say Putin has every reason to increase the Russian defence budget to Best Korean proportions.

The only thing I got from wiki is Nazi killings and Communist cultural death.

Comparatively so, versus volcanic events or war amongst democracies.

Am I the only one who still thinks that World War III is very likely to happen in the foreseeable future?
WWII didn't happen with nukes around. Even amongst the new emerging powers, none would be so bold or so foolish as to go stirring the international kettle. It'd take something like a resource crisis to start, but a resource crisis in itself would be enough to be a candidate for "end of the world," or at the very least the end of industrial civilization.

Many Russian sources claim that American economy is so screwed that the American government is actively trying to provoke other countries into starting World War 3 or other major war in order to profit from arms sales World War I-style, or planning to invade, occupy and plunder some country full of natural resources (like Russia). Otherwise, the American economy would soon collapse and the US would be plunged into chaos.

It'd be faaaar easier to invade and occupy, and plunder, Canada than Russia, for sooo many reasons.
