Well. It's front page news on the BBC and in America. I saw Anonymous being involved with leaks on the American politics thread, though it hasn't been mentioned in the articles.

(Which is funny, because well, US citizens are the only ones not being targeted)

BBC gave a coverage about how in Chinese-American talks, both were going on about countering cyber-crime whilst never bringing up cyber-spying issues. Run of the mill authoritarian government stuff.

I think the real question is, how do any of us do anything about the greater surveillance state? Pass a UN ban on such activities [I will admit I do not know if they've covered such bases]. It's not one entity I'm worried about. They all seem to be working together.

I love how apparently everything, from gross invasions of privacy to drone strike seems to be an issue in the US only if it targets US citizens. Then you wonder why the rest of the world dislike the US -_-'.
