Gentlemen, I believe we have finally found a sustainable replacement for the Russo-Ukrainian flames.

Just finished eating four slices of cinnamon toast and a PB&J&Cinnamon sammich. It was dessert and lunch all in one.

Rashers, curry, tea and electricity. I'd have it many other ways, and my lack of bread saddens me. Nevertheless, it was a very satisfying meal.

I made a similar post in the Progressive thread but Nicola Sturgeon is going to be on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart this Monday.

Okay so we are debating wether an independent Catalan state existed, or if there were a state what had a catalan rulers and catalan population, but wasn't called Catalonia.

I would like to point out that from the perspective of independence all of this is irrelevant.

There were no state of Turkey, just Ottoman Empire before 1920, so technically the Entente could have used the same kind of reasoning to not allow a "new" Turkish state, despite both the majority of the population of Anatolia were Turkish and their leaders too.

Or we could take the case of Slovakia, there were no Slovak state in history before 1939. So if Slovakia were part of Hungary today we could argue that they don't deserve a state because of that (I am Hungarian by the way).

Both arguments are moot.

Independence needs to depend on the will of the people.

The thread was just locked for perpetuating that argument, and three posts in someone's back at it. Seriously?

Okay, I think the Catalan talk can go on, just stay civil and let's maybe stop the nitpicking about the details of medieval succession out of this thread.

MetalRock, I'd also appreciate it if you could give supporting evidence to your claims (like those about international law), instead of just stating the same thing ad nauseum.

And in the spirit of goodwill that I now want to permeate this thread, I've replaced the poll.

You should put a slice of manchego in your burgers. Some ewe's cheese.

I've personally come to feel goat cheese is usually superior to cow cheese, and also most other types of cheese.

I support goat cheese - for the sheer irony.

No, no, you absolutely must use blue cheese for tougher meats, such as mutton. Anything else is a crime against cuisine.
