Since there has never been a centralized government on earth that managed to exist for even 1000 years
Objection! Ancient Egypt and Imperial China managed that, I think. So let's just chuck that waste into the pyramids and give those curse warnings a real meaning :P

Neither were stable.

Depends on what criteria you apply, and how much stability you deem necessary for the safekeeping of nuclear waste.

I think the ancient Egyptians could have managed keeping nuclear waste safe. Encasing sensitive things in big impenetrable structures was largely what they're remembered for.

Though the pyramids were usually ransacked only a few years after they were finished. At least I think one of the pyramids of Giza was. It might be the one with the big slice taken out of the side.

As much as I hate Farage, that guy is such a prick. The sentence "This is a 24K gold statue of my father" just makes me want to punch the guy in the dick.

You raise a good point. Enough to maybe have a small amount of influence, but not enough to go and send our economy into a trainwreck.
I think that's basically the best reasonable scenario. Labour doesn't get enough seats for a majority on their own, so they end up in a coalition with the SNP, Greens and Plaid, who will be able to keep Labour on-task of actually doing lefty things.

this might be the future of British politics. Centre-left Labour propped up in coalition with genuine lefties, Tories on the centre right propped up by UKIP. LibDems knowhere. This does leave the very scary prospect of Farage being deputy PM in the same manner as Clegg has... *shudder*

So, he's challenging Farage to a swordfight?

I thought we were beyond the whole duel to the death for honor thing?

Okay, so at this moment I am very torn between thinking this Zylinski is a pompous ass and really liking him a lot :D

In either case I am up for it.
