i thought he was an homeless guy (Well, i guess homeless can also go to school, but it just sounds unlikely)
Homeless might also mean "not having a registered adress" maybe, that might not prevent him from going to school.

Plus, we don't know if he was really homeless.

Anyway, apparently they robbed a gas station (???), and the police say they have a general idea of where they are.

Also it seems that they all left their ID-cards in their car, maybe that's why.
And now I read that just one of the brothers forgot his ID, so yeah.

They stole gas and food from a gas station in Villers-Cotterêts. Police is now looking for them around Crépy-en-Valois.

Are you certain that's Banksy's?
I think it said so in the link I posted.

Ok, so it appears some banksy fan decided to post that and claim it was banksy's which is not the case.

It didn't seem like his style.

It appears - from the way they did the shooting - that they had some sort of military training. (They fired single, aimed shots instead of wildly firing rounds like someone who can't handle automatic weapons.) They might have gotten that training in the Middle East or even in France. That doesn't necesarily mean that they are directly connected to some larger organisation or that they have any real guerilla training or anything. They also left lots of molotov cocktails and banners with messages in Arabic in their car, so maybe they didn't have that much of a plan for after the killing.

Any one German can translate this? http://www.tagesschau.de/ausland/ukraine-jazenjuk-101.html

Is he really talking about USSR invading Germany and Ukraine?

What he says is translated as "The Russian attack on Ukraine is an attack on the order of the world and on order in Europe. We all can remember the Soviet advance on Ukraine and Germany. One has to avoid that and nobody has the right to rewrite the outcome of WW2, and that is what the Russian President Mr. Putin is trying to do."
(I don't think I messed up the German-to-English, that last sentence really is not that clear to me in German either.)

Either that or the Ukrainian-to-German interpreter messed something up, which can happen in simultaneous interpreting.

Clearly he wants to evoke the Soviet advance at the end of WW2 and the somewhat mixed feelings Germans may have about that, but I'm not so sure what the rest is supposed to mean exactly. The interviewer doesn't ask either, though she later asks him why he is making provocative statements about Putin.

What mixed feelings about the Soviet advance? AFAIK there are quite a few East Germans reminescing about the good ol' occupation times, and the West wasn't Soviet-occupied anyway. I guess he severely overestimated the degree of identification with pre-1945 Germany.

But who gives a crap about Silesia anymore? The Bund der Vertriebenen is a joke - its only purpose is to serve as an easy target for comedians. And even legitimate Allied war crimes - the bombing of Dresden, for example - are strict neo-nazi issues.
