Well, my argument wasn't that Iran was better than the US, but that Iran was better than Saudi Arabia.

How come there is barely any syrian immigration to iran?

Especially considering Syria is Iran's path to the sea.

Well, my argument wasn't that Iran was better than the US, but that Iran was better than Saudi Arabia.

Well, i am saying they are just as bad, although slightly differently bad.

How come there is barely any syrian immigration to iran?
Because Syria is a Sunni state and Iran is a Shiite state?

Do you realize how absurd it is that this is even considered a legitimate answer? i am not saying you are wrong, because you are not. i am saying that because you are right, Iran could never be an ally to the west if it keeps its radical religious mentality.

Oh wait, it is an ally to the west. Weird, huh?

Looks like those sanctions might be working, despite Russia being the strongest economy and nation in the world

It's almost as if being invaded by a neighboring fascist country is enough to negatively effect your country's economy. Mind explaining how Russia's rouble is falling?

That graph would be more telling if the X-axis were $0. Still, that's roughly a 25% drop since Spring.

If the axis was 0 you'd see no change in the chart ever since the rouble is such a low exchange rate. Would also skew things. I'm showing since the sanctions were passed.

They also have a chunk of their territory occupied by rebels and another part annexed by Russia. I think we can cut them some slack if their economy isn't doing so good.

FAKEDIT: What Mictlantecuhtli said. And I'm pretty sure that a good chunk of their Russian investors have pulled out as well. So what's happening isn't terribly surprising.

It shows however that IMF funding fails to uphold the economical stability of Ukraine.

Russia is killing civilians in Donetsk and Lugansk and blaming it on Ukraine? Shocking
