Aww, you shut down true knights while I was on a trip...  I was still very interested in that.  Oh well.  Glad you have a couple threads going.

Xantolos - The Tower
You know little of the Deep Wood outside of the from the stories occasionally told by the villagers. They have feared it for as long as you have dwelled in the region, and though they occasionally mention strange happenstances or sightings near the edge of the forest, no one has ever been harmed and you have never seen a reason to investigate. The inhabitants of the region normally stay as far away from the place as they could help, and it strikes you as incredibly odd that they should choose to enter it now, for no discernible reason.

Pufferfish - Epidemic
You make a split-second decision and start sprinting down the hallway. The doorway explodes behind you as the blob bursts through and slams into the opposite wall. It doesn't waste any time however and the roiling mass is literally right on your heels, and you can feel it grabbing at your feet as you pound down the hall away from him. You hear a muffled squeal coming from beneath your jacket as Terrence becomes excited about something. He tries to wriggle out from under your clothes but you clap your hand on him to prevent him from falling. You reach the door and open it directly into the path of the blob, which runs into it and starts pouring around it to reach you. You retreat into the room, slamming the door as you go and severing the tendrils that were oozing towards you. They land on the ground and the viscous flesh immediately loses its cohesion and turns back to liquid, forming a pool of blood and chunks of bone on the floor where they fell. The creature outside runs into the door repeatedly in an effort to reach you, and you back away towards the hole and peer down into it. The drop is much less appealing now that you're standing over it, and you're already convinced that you'll hurt yourself if you decide to jump. Terrence continues squirming beneath your jacket and trying to escape.

SomeStupidGuy - Powder
The two of you throw your butts aside and get back to searching. After a few minutes you stumble upon the lift. The platform and the mechanism itself are intact, but just as Hugh predicted, the generator is torn to shreds. He rubs the back of his neck, his brow furrowed. Well shit. I sort of called that one, hey? Sorry mate..

Pufferfish - Allora
Warm Rags + Leather Overcoat [pack of cigarettes, Terrence the Amorphous Blob, switchblade, revolver (empty)] + B-3 Gas Mask (doesn't need filters), Long Lead Pipe [last seen on ground behind reception desk], Briefcase [in hand; full bottle of whiskey, 4 tins of spam, 10 cans of fruit], Backpack [broken gas mask]

SomeStupidGuy - Finn (Teal)
Loose Cotton Shirt and Trousers [matches, wallet, 3 sticks of dynamite, carton of fuses], Pickaxe [right hand], Gas Lantern [left hand]

Fitzhugh the Miner - heavy shovel, gas lantern

Xantolos - Richard
Light Robes [water flask (nearly full), stoppered glass of oil (empty), dirk, ultra greatsword], Cloth Mask, Soft Boots

Well crap, this should be fun.

Let Terrence out, he's helped me before. How far is the drop? One floor? Three?

Drop the briefcase on the ground and get my knife out, too. I know this thing can die, and I STILL MUST BECOME CAPTAIN.

Err, derpaderp.
Go to where the duy described her last being and search for signs of her passing. Don't go into the forest yet, but look for tracks and such.
