Flashback.

"Oh..." Allora relaxes a little. "Where's my mask!?" She says with a start, "I can't be anywhere without it!"

Look around the room for my stuff.

"Hey! Simmer down. I had to take it off you. I wanted to make sure none of it got in the mask. Plus I couldn't really talk face to face with a masked stranger, now could I? You'll get it back... In'a minute. In the meantime, what were you wandering around looking for?"

Linden pulls her mask our of a pocket and places it on the card table.

"We got a bit of time before the antibiotics finish. As I see it, we might as well get to know each other."

Pufferfish
You try hard to remember why you were outside, but it only makes your head pound harder. You grimace painfully and try to relax, instead opting to focus on finding your gear. It doesn't take long, you spot it lying just inside the open wardrobe. Your full face gas mask, canned food, coiled rope, and switchblade are stacked neatly and all look to be in the same condition they were when they left you. You breathe a sigh of relief before turning back to the situation at hand. You're still tied to the concrete wall, and the stranger is talking to you now.

Gotdamnmiracle
"Your kit is just there." You motion towards the wardrobe you dragged down here a few days ago and lift your mask from where you had hung it from your trousers, letting it drop onto the table. You level your gaze towards your new friend. "So, what were you doing out there alone?" She shakes her head and continues gazing about the room. You shrug idly and then walk over to untie her, now quite convinced that she isn't going to kill you in your sleep.

I think the main priority here would be to get the spores onto a boat, and getting them to Europe.

"... Mm. Okay. You seem rather harmless." Linden says as untying her. "I can only stay here for a bit more. I found you as I was doing my scouting run. I have been staying upstairs from this cellar in the small pharmacy up top. Not much in the way of supplies, but it's safer than you would think. That being said, I still need to go out, lest I start running into the red on what little I do have. You can stay here but don't expect a hot meal or anything. I saved your life. I don't owe you nothin'."

"I'd like to come with. Unless I gotta stay down here. I want to help. You did save my life after all," Allora says, standing up to get something heavier on her body. She didn't like how exposed she felt.

"Well... I... I suppose so. Y'know you really were lost if you were over here. This side of the city is pretty scavenged out. That or there was nothing to begin with. Either way... Uhm here. Linden hands over her mask and turns to the door. Follow me. I think I know of a place that might have something useful and a second pair of hands may be just what I need.

Sure. But you didn't need to make a character sheet. If I wanted everyone's sheets it would be in the OP.

My internet is about to go off, because someone stole my credit card and the bank chopped it up when I appraised them of the fact. I'll have a new one in two weeks. Out-of-character the shit out of this thread until I can get back on. Characters can do in-character as well. You can make up whatever you want for your background, but don't expect it to affect gameplay.

Point us in the right direction? Like what if we stumble upon a small cache of food but get locked up or the spore starts pouring down. That way we can justify us staying in a room for a super long time.

Pufferfish & Gotdamnmiracle
You both slip your masks on and Allora dons a spare overcoat that the taller man hands her. She nods her thanks and pulls the rope over one shoulder, slipping each of the half dozen food cans into a separate pocket so they don't click together if she needs to run, and putting the switchblade into the pocket nearest her right hand. Linden holds up a tiny syrette filled with a milky white liquid, then tucks the precious antibiotic into a small pocket beneath his collar. He hefts his [insert melee weapon of your choice here], the reassuring weight of the weapon feeling utterly natural in his hands. You both head up the stairs and Linden lifts the latch out of place and pushes the heavy wooden portal open, setting it down carefully and then turning it back once Allora comes through. The greased hinges make no sound and the door closes flush with the floor. The wind howls and whistles through the cloth covered door leading into the store. "The storm will be over soon. We'll wait here until its over." You both make yourselves comfortable in the tiny store room and wait.

How's that?

"It's a shame. I'd really like to get out there right now." Allora comments and she mindlessly shuffles the deck of cards she found in her pockets.
