Or we can just build a crude fence to satisfy the scared workers who won't sleep without one...

Turn 12:

Site:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You let the miner off work and the wood workers have a change of heart and give up too. Without wood the builders stop building the roundhouse.

Gargle butchers the deerple and the meat is cooked and eaten as fast as he can get it off. He throws the guts into the birthing pit. Monty takes the skull and some other bones from the deerple as well as the hat remains to pretty up the shrine. The shrine is now adequate.

Everyone has their fill of delicious meat and stands around the fire talking. You wish you could sing a battle ballad but you don't know any.

Everyone is ready to head to bed (including you). You organize shifts for guard duty so everyone gets some sleep.

Yes, unless something happen in the night, it will be time skip.

Morning turn: everyone back to work. Two scouts (and up to two idlers we have no use for) go hunt and kill another deerple.

We have yollars already. A self made currency would be worthless outside our camp, and with so few people we have no need for it.

Cut down some more wood, and make another pickaxe out of it and the hexium.

And should we change it to the combined birthing/orgy pit?

I believe the exact term used was "filth"...

Noun

filth (uncountable)

    dirt
    smut
    (UK, pejorative, slang) the police
(US, agriculture, dated) weeds growing on pasture land
