bump?
I'm still conserving my usage. One more day of doing nothing on the net and I should be fine until it resets. Sorry about this, I promise I'll never watch 20 hours of let's plays again.

gotta know what happens next video... please.... call... a doctor

sell the skins. if we get a new skin fast enough sell them that as well.
Agreed. We could need some more yollars for the traders. (Which WILL come now that the nearby village knows about us)
And we don't have a tanner anyway.

There appears to be an error in the previous update, the hats is not  worn...
Let Yoick himself think about a contraption to make wearing of hats less strenuous.
Maybe he could ask the carpenter for a quick idea.

Jaymi is to compile a treatise on the behaviours and habits of  ridgebacks. While attempting to evade situation that result in becoming food.
At least let Jaymi observe them for some more time.

I don't think the trappers would want to sell their back browt, but we can at least ask what their worth is.

Gargle and his assistent should butcher the browts asap,
take what they need for the pit and let Monty cook the rest
(and use the blood and bones as he desires)

Vulgaras should ask around if help is needed.

The correct answer is: I got lazy!

That's right i'm horrible. I have sorta been messing around with hanging out at the university until late so that's an excuse. The wifi is fast and free plus I have a power connection so I've stayed there late a few nights (I watched all of the let's plays I could ever want).

Because I feel a bit bad I'm going to do my best to do 6 updates this weekend, 3 per day. It'll be like I nearly updated once a day per week. I'm also thinking I'll add information to the information post. All you know about Narg as well as a map maybe.

Wow! Don't overdo it and burden yourself with it -to the point it become no fun- out of guilt...
We are happy to see it alive again, and we wont bite your head off if you only do half the updates you just promised ^^

Turn 29
« Reply #461 on: March 22, 2013, 09:00:34 pm »

Turn 29:

Site:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You sell the trappers the deerple skins and gain 3 yollars.

It occurs to you that a tame browt could be handy so you deploy some witty banter in an effort to find out if they are willing to sell theirs, or how much a tame browt could cost. The trappers say they aren't willing to sell but there is a woman in their village who catches and tames them  so they could tell her that you would be willing to buy one if you wish. A tame browt is worth about 15 yollars, a fair trade of goods would be fine as well. +10xp

One of the trappers notes that it is getting late and asks if they could make camp near the village. You realize that if they stick around you might be able to sell them the browt skins you will soon acquire. It also occurs to you that if they stay they could witness the flesh offering tonight, whether this is a bad thing or not you do not know.

The carpenter finishes making handles, there should be plenty for a while.

The goblin operating the forge finishes smelting the first ingot of grey metal and decides to throw some more hexium in and smelt that too.

South(Stream):
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Jaymi and the goblin continue to observe the ridgebacks. The creatures don't seem to worried by their presence.

East:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
The villagers decide that instead of heading back to the village they'll set a trap for the hats. The goblin puts his red berries on the ground and hides behind a bush in a cunning ploy to lure the hats in.

Let the traders stay.

Jay I: Have the Redshirt goblin go and pet the ridgeback.

Back off immediatly if it does anything remotely aggressive, like growling.

We should let the trappers camp here, but let Yoick and Monty tell them what we are going to to do for our god tonight, before they see it without warning and maybe panic.

The carpenter has nothing to do. Let him think about a contraption to make wearing of hats less strenuous.

Let the traders stay.

Jay I: Have the Redshirt goblin go and pet the ridgeback.
I think Jaymi or his goblin companion should start to tame them. Yoick is a smith, not an animal tamer.
Let one of the two go and try to directly interact with the ridgebacks. Carefully.
Also:
Back off immediatly if it does anything remotely aggressive, like growling.

Let Vulgaras light the fire. It's getting dark (and probably cold).

Tell the miner that he can stop mining for today if he wants to.
Same with the woodcutters.

Oh, if Gargle and his assistent are not butchering the browts already, let them do it.

No idea what the other free citizens could do right now...
Maybe gather berries and fruits?
