I am to think the first one with spikes coming from its head and back (think of a hedgehog, but green, with not so many spikes and also a lizard). although I could be horribly wrong with the perspective the creature is presented.

Institute the following scientific names
Ridgeback: Dimetrodon
Hats: Fluffy Wambler

Insist that "hats" is both a singular and plural term.

The goblin that tends the birthing pit should be known as Vulgaras.
no. That goblin alredy has a name (Gargle) and so do the critters

The male human should be named Tiffany.
personaly I'd name him jaymi (spelling intentional, for once :P) becuse of the mustache

-have the idling goblin finish the round house
Begin work on the palisade.

-Have the hunters hunt Bristleback Browts, one scaring them into the waiting weapons of the others.
-Have the idle goblin improve the hat pen.

GreatWyrmGold's hunting startigy is sound. what do you guys think of combing ther names for Bristleback Browts into one name? evryone happy? I like the aliteration.

Isn't Gargle the shaman? I meant the goblin that built the pit...

Oh, alright. Gargle is the one who over sees the pit, he had a minion dig it for him. In that case I have no objection to the diger being named Vulgaras.

Name the digger Vulgaras, and while I'd prefer just plain Bristleback, Bristleback Browt is acceptable.

More or less the one on the left if you somehow crossbred it with a bear. Thick hedgehog like spines but thicker but less sharp. I was actually thinking of it being a mammal too but the distinction between mammals and reptiles doesn't really matter so much.

Do merchents sell mungo tree seads and/or spalings?
Probably not a reputable merchant.

I also perceived the spine the other way (more hedgehog than dimetrodon)
Also the dimetrodon predate the separation between reptiles and mammals. I guess we can call it a reptile, but mammals weren't a thing back then. ("what's this newfangled 'fur' you're talking about?")
