Methinks Sal heads 2S and nails the Glaive Paladin with the Brave Axe and Olison's support boni, then cantoes west, while Olison just heads West.

Haspen, you said earlier that if a flying unit goes down over water and there is no nearby land that they would drown. Does the pond count as such in any sort of way, or is it safe to use that as a canto-hiding space? I considered the middle of the pond, but the bishop made me reconsider due to being unsure as to what would happen.

I figure he'd probably wind up on a shore somewhere nearby that wasn't currently occupied?

No, fliers drown (aka insta-death) over sea, which means the water on ship maps (and is why I grounded Esori in NEF3).

Seashore/ponds/rivers and whatnots are perfectly safe and you get the death counter instead, but I wonder how people are gonna get to you to heal you if you end in the middle of the water
