Waaaait a minute. How many turns did the MC Expedition's battle have? Because if this takes much longer, would Gregor n Co just stand there for minutes waiting for us?
It'd either be a plot hole or Haspen would have to exclude half the players from the final battle or Haspen would have to pull something from his sleeve.

AND we know that turns correspond because of Valor's knocking down from Ernest's death.
