Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Sorry for double post.

I suggest 18,10 over 18, 13 Gamer, because there you would be in range of Valor's support and Charisma. At 18,13, you're pretty much depriving yourself of a better chance to dodge, auto hits, and a decent chance to crit for little reason.

Hey Haspen, since the book says dances can be stockpiled, are you gonna let Anja dance PCs now, or is that never gonna happen?

Quote from: Ye Old Handbooke
Special: Dance
Activated Effect
The character is able to perform a dance for any ally adjacent to the user who has already used their
action. That character can act again. The character with this skill can effect up to 2 allies with it, but it
can be any ally within 2 spaces of the Dancer. This effect of aiding multiple allies works with the
standard Dance ability, or with any currently equipped Performance. This skill overwrites Perform.

I don't see anything about stockpiling there? v:

It's near the back.

Quote from: Performances
Bards and Dancers have a very different way of affecting the
outcome of a battle. Rarely able to take part in combat itself, they
instead bolster their allies with various buffs, or hinder their
enemies with various ailments. The basic effect of the Bard and
the Dancer is to give allies to take a second turn during their
phase; allies who have already used a turn can take one again, and
allies who haven't already used a turn can take two this phase. No
ally can take more than 2 actions in a round, so any further
Performances or effects that grant an additional action are ignored.

Yes, as long as they're standing up during Allied Phase.

Excellent. Also, I just noticed an error in Valor's Battle stats. His Killing Edge has 1 more crit.

I really wish I had more speed, I wouldn't have to rely on the Killing Edge so much for my new plan.

EDIT: Okay, time for me to tell everyone about plan Omnimurder. Valor is down right now, so any single healing he receives short of an Elixir should leave him in Wrath range. We're going to exploit the fuck out of this. If Anja dances Valor during the ally phase, that means he can move toward an enemy, and if within support range of Seyena and using the Killing Edge, have a 90+ crit rate against any enemy on the field, except the Bishop I think, who comes in at 89 if I remember right. Then, with his second action, he can fall back, ready to reset and fire again next player phase. Alternatively, he can attack two different enemies, then be recalled with the rescue staff, but it may be best to keep hold of that for emergencies, or only deploy double kills when we need to drop a priority target, like a healer or someone with Siege Magic, since I bet Haspen will add new enemy types next wave.

I did some math, and as it stands right now, here are the enemies Valor can down from full strength fairly reliably with Support and Wrath.

Elite Axemen
Swordmaster
Bishop
Druid
Fire Sage
Sentry

So, only the Sentinels and Sergeants are safe from him in optimal conditions for now. And if I get another Str level, Sergeants are screwed too.

Of course, the downside of this plan is that we cut our healing somewhat, but the plus side is 80% chance (ballparked, I'm not doing that kind of math before work) give or take to kill nearly ANYTHING in one turn. Wrath is ready to be worthwhile guys.

Clearly the bishop was also one of Critzocoatl's faithful. The great one giveth, and the great one taketh away. *sage nod*

Best I can think of is to either carry on with the plan or have Sal and Olison heal as many as they can.

Edit: or Olison rather, I guess, Sal can't reach anyone with medicine and make it back to his spot.

Yeah, Olison healing may be best. We need ablative armor here. So I guess Olison should heal Alexander and Valor, Sal attacks the sword master, and we hope for the best.

Olison can still attack the sergeant but we need more people up to soak the hits from the enemies more than a dead enemy, sadly. Specially if it fails, then we'd be in a lot worse shape.  He should swap to his short spear regardless, but I assume that obvious what with the sergeant right next to him.

I recommend healing Valor before healing me, since mages are still afoot.
