Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

I'm pretty sure the flavor text said something about the second thief running away after your little stabbing display. I could be wrong though.

Ah. Riven scared him away with her summons. That's what it was.

Well, she can do it again! I know I'd run away were I confronted with a gargoyle, a killer sniper lady, and Dragon knows what else.

Well, you DID threaten him. I just forgot what did the actual scaring. >.>

I can't scare this one off because I'm currently preparing to do battle against the hordes of enemies to the north. Someone else will have to scare him off. Or kill him. I'm not picky, y'know :P

Jeez. You want my childhood?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers
Thundercats
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (pre-Thunderzords)
Bad horror movies
Friday the 13th series
Disney musicals
Twisted Sister
Pearl Jam
ICP (...yeah, I'll cop to it. >.>)
NES all day erry day
SNES all day erry day
Resident Evil all day erry day (pretty literally. Broke the disc from playing it too much >.>) once the Playstation came out
WWF & WCW from 1996-2001 (to me, 1999 would've been the end of the childhood thing as I was 13, but I stopped watching wrestling from 2001 to 2009, so, figured I might as well count it to the end there)

Obviously more than that, but, y'know. :P Also someone else can move Derick, I don't wanna throw him to the wolves.

You know, that rogue would make a great lackey for Riven. Especially since its alternatives are skeleton death and fleeing the castle.

FEF5 will be about XCOM.

Just imagine: a group of scared archers trying to pling at Lobsterman with 30STR and 30DEF.

Or pair of squishy mages coming around the corner only to spot a Chryssalid with 9MOV and 30SPD running toward them and cutting them down with Galeforce.

Glorious. I have to make this.

Why does Derick keep running in front of the tanky units? Isn't that what caused Chapter 11 to happen? :v

We don't exactly have a lot of tanky units, though - we have Gregor, Marpa, and any expendable summons Riven can pull up.  We'll need to rely on dodge-tank shenanigans from Derick and Chris as well as units capable of taking the hits, and hope the dice favour us.  Besides, it's not like they could have hit us yet; we don't quite need to get into position until this turn. ^_^
