Just had first run with Acrid.

He acid-melted everything and it was my best run. Got so far that I saw 'Overloaded' version of a boss and got the Acrid to lvl.20, not to mention that I unblocked Engineer and 5 or so items! Acrid OP, he is my new fave character :3

*Continuation of Hijack*

Update on Monsooning: Managed to get to... Forth stage? It was the core, whichever stage that was.
-Died horribly
-Unlocked Bandit and Enforcer in single game
-Was run thinking I wasn't going to make it very far, somehow wound up being forty to fifty minute game.
-I really love the mask plus the sacrificial dagger. It's a fun combo.

Unfortunately you can only unlock Acrid in singleplayer. But you can do it on Drizzle, I've heard. I've never played the difficulty so I dunno. :P You should do it anyway, Sirus. You can get Acrid in stage 3, the Miner in stage 4, and HAN-D in stage 6. The first two require proper stage/spawn, but HAN-D is always in the same spot in stage 6, I've heard. Seems like it, too. He always seems to be in Cargo Bay 2.

As for my own exploits, I've beaten it as every character (I think, I have a bad memory but I'm pretty sure I did) and unlocked almost everything possible for singleplayer. I don't believe the Miner's 'don't get hit twice before you're level 10' and the Soldier's 'activate the teleport in stage 3 and do not get hit at all until then' are possible for one person to do alone, and I haven't tried to beat it on Monsoon as the Mercenary yet.

I've only made it to level 3 once :<

Got attacked by two Wandering Vagrants and died just after the teleporter finished charging.

There was that one time we did a minor derailment by using diplomacy out of nowhere, and refused to even duel Joz.  That was epic without the brutality. ^_^
