Well, I didn't read most of the text first. I was scrolling up to the beginning and just saw Prixima's portrait, then Ernest saying 'as you wish' followed by *more schlurpy kissing* and I thought 'I wonder what the hell's going on here'. That's basically the story.

I was thinking of doing something like this (though the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie was in my head, not MGS4 ), but I decided to do it this way for two reasons:
One, everyone's going on about this being a suicide mission. Gregor's trying to have confidence, but in Tue back of his mind he's worried. And when you're going on a suicide mission, you don't wait until during the mission to ask the important questions as things could go wrong very quickly. You ask beforehand, so at least you don't have to wonder any more.
Second, more pragmatic/out-of-character/metagamy reason was that I doubted very much that Haspen would upgrade the support rank to S mid-battle :p

I had PotC in my head too when I suggested that, never played any of the MGS series. Probably should, but I don't know if they're for the computer. Nor the time, I suppose.

So, while we wait for Haspen to respond so the story can continue, what should we get with the gold Mannan gave us? Obviously a Restore staff could come in handy, but assuming there's leftovers what else?

A Physic, if we can swing one.  We're going to have to face Ernest's known capabilities as well as Prixima's unknown-but-final-boss-level powers, and I think we'll definitely want some way of healing that won't put our healer in attack range.  I highly doubt we'll be able to get enough money for both, though, and I think the Restore staff should be of higher priority since we can't mimic it with cheaper staves.
