Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

I may be the furthest out, but I'm the best protected. I recommend rescuing me last if possible.

Neither of which should be a problem if we just dance the Rescue staff between all of our 5 staff users.

Also I just had a thought. If we hadn't slept that sentry in the guardhouse, would he have dropped the gates? Somehow I'm getting that feeling. In which case, Crisis Averted. :)

I was just thinking that if I did rescue her, then one staff use could get two characters closer to the exit, is all. I mean Chris could make it out right now if I wanted. >.>

Between Ami, Raquel, Tantallos, Edwin and Seyena, we could handle a lot of people this turn. Also we shouldn't forget about our guest star party member, he was just paralyzed too.

I thought Tant didn't get staffs? I remember someone saying that. Gonna go check the book.

Just the thing, since you're already able to escape, having you rescue Riven and then being rescued seems somewhat... redundant? It should be better just to have you sticking around and hovering near the exit just in case something goes awry. On the off-chance you get paralyzed, moving you to the exit should be simple.

Knee-jerk reaction from me remembering staffs being able to be used by Druids in the game. Being unable to access the book right now, I dunno if that's the case here.

Yep, just checked, Druids get Dark and Anima only.

If he was level sixteen, he could call magic for rescue, but he's not, so we can't.

*doubleshrug*

From what I see a good set of moves would probably be:
Raquel->Rescue Riven South
Ami->Trade Rescue Staff from Raquel->Rescue Gregor South
Seyena->12,29->Trade Rescue Staff from Ami->Rescue Dalban South
Edwin->12,28->Trade Rescue Staff from Seyena->Rescue Alex North (Doubles as a useful meatwall for the next turn)
Chris->9,29
Charlotte->9,28
Tantallos->Either stay still or shimmy to the west, just outside the exit

EDIT: And as an aside; I'd like to mention how useful/terrifying aliment staves are in this game in the hands of allies/enemies. Almost makes me want to make my character in BMM's FEF an aliment specialist

Double-post because goddamn conspiracy. Look at this.

Every upload to imgur, no matter how nice, now automatically reduces the quality of the image. Does this look like a jpeg? Take a good, hard look at those artifacts around the hair. Hell, look at how the red arrow, which was crystal clear before uploading, is now blurred up with artifacts. Worse, they're doing this retroactively. It's enforced JPEGing.

Worse still, other image hosting services have mysteriously started doing this seemingly-overnight. Tinypic and postimage, from what I checked, are also doing this.

Why does this matter? Well, for one, we can't edit other peoples' sprites effectively anymore because the color and line information is mostly destroyed, filled in with other random colors far outside the palette. What is going oooooooon

Hmm. My postimg uploads still look fine. Possibly because they're transparent? Can you have transparent jpgs?
