The damn things only work for a turn, I really don't see the appeal.

Also glad Culise at least remembered that Chris can and does use crossbows.

Actually, I didn't until you said it, and edited it in immediately to fix my mistake.  Sorry about that. ^_^

Speaking of weapon proficiencies, though, are there any major thresholds that we need to consider for which it would be worth boosting proficiency at all?  The Mage Masher was noted above as a Rank B, which only Valor misses.  A War Hammer is Rank B as well, which means none of our axe users save Alexander can use it, but most Armored opponents also have weak RES which our mage-heavy party can deal with.  The Restore and Physic are Rank B, but of our staff users, Raquel, Ami, and Seyena can all use Heal staves at Rank A already, and Edwin doesn't really need it when he's busy using Ailments.

Oh, and do you think we should get an Elthunder for Raquel?  She only has 11 uses left on her Killer Thunder, and Thunder is only around half its Might.  We can probably expect a lot of enemies, but on the other hand, will Raquel be firing off 11 Killer Thunders?  Also, Pure Waters will be highly helpful in dealing with Prixima; we know we're going up against mages, after all. 

EDIT: Wait, why do Pure Waters only last 1 round?  They should last 3 by the rules...

Yeah, for the most part, I don't think anyone needs a weapon crystal. Not worth it, even where it'd push someone to an S rank.

As for shopping, I don't think Seyena needs anything, she's pretty much set so far, and I think giving her a bigger staff would only be a waste, imho. Ami and the other sages could do better with heavier healing, and now Seyena's role as a backup/long-range healer is now moot that Ami's a Valkyrie. So if anyone needs to borrow her cash, just take it.

Ironic that the guy who gets half as good bonuses from supports is a support building machine. XD It's certainly a unique disadvantage that fits the character, but damn is it crippling now.
