Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Btw, how come Berserk makes us prioritize allies over enemies? I don't remember the games doing that.

This is Haspen. I don't know if you noticed, but he also ignored attacking Alex when he was the only one in the range, and the IA attacks anything without thinking. So yeah, Haspen.

Please not that berserking characters attack the nearest character, and the AI always prioritises the targets it can do more damage to.

Just because they're enemies, it doesn't mean they should be dumb. They're humans too, after all :P

No, I mean, I remember Haspen stating a couple pages ago that, even when allies and enemies were the same distance away, berserked characters would attack allies first, for some reason. I was wondering why.

So, are we doing senseless bravado or not?

If Charlotte hadn't taken Seyena down, we could still have tried the lolsnipe and hoped for a crit. Now, though...

Sometimes, plans go straight to hell. Now, unless we have a better suggestion, we should probably just rush them. Collateral damage? Oh yeah. Waiting around for enemy reinforcements with extra Sage flavored pain still wandering around? Not fun.

At least with three staff users running around, we should be able to soak up the worst of the damage. Zerg rush it might be.

Unless the staff users get knocked down too, so we kinda need to leave them behind.

I'm debating if I should charge in too, or if that would be too risky due to possible death because of lack of anyone to back me up. Opinions?

I'm thinking either this turn, or wait one to let the spearmen get engaged in possible melee and go from there.

Having you wait up to provide auxiliary healing once the Rage Sage is dead may not be a bad idea.

I'm thinking Sal could charge in. He's in no real danger of attacking an ally, separated by enemies the way he is. Plus its unlikely that they'd all go after him considering the small army attacking from the other side.

Fake Edit: Or emergency medic works, too.

Hm... Perhaps you are right, I am just too hesitant. At the quickest, Sal can go down on this enemy turn and by then chances are you guys would of broke through... I'll edit my post.

EDIT: Done. More wasted effort to convince them to change alliances! Gotta say, Salvatore is determined to try.
