Hah, that would be interesting. I figured Sal was going to be that one guy in the story who's talked about but never shows, or shows at the end and asks what he missed while drowsy.

Maybe there can be an overly complicated path that eventually leads to a scene showing Sal without a helmet. :p

CH3 is proving to be a truly daunting task. The game's already nearly 2000 hand-typed lines of code long. I'm probably going to nearly double that amount when I'm finished with this final chapter.

On the other hand, there's the upside that, due to the dynamic way I've set it up, you can play through it several times and unlock lots of different scenes and outcomes. Every decision you make before and during CH3 can change the way each scene plays out in some way.

At least it's doubling as my method of learning python (I didn't know anything about coding python when I started, but now I'm up to elaborate list manipulation functions).

Sadly, it's unlikely we'll ever get a real FEF fangame. I am just not sure anyone here has both the coding genius and the artistic/writing/planning skills to make it happen.

Ahh python... I remember when I first used that in my first year of uni to draw pictures with for an assignment or two.

Anyway, I think Edwin needs to heal Anja if he can. I don't remember how death works for named NPC units, but dammit that's not something I wanna risk right now.
Oh, and if Alexander spends another turn doing nothing I will break his nose. Dude needs a javelin of some sort so he can at least try to fight back against ranged attackers
