Gotta say, Dag must really like the team considering the fact that he could of fled the team and ran outta there the first turn. Due to levitate, he can really cross the river at any part he pleases.

Well, if we're running off to Berebia I need to think of a new way to promote Gregor. It'll be hard to get his father's shield to him when he's living as a fugitive

Seems to me Dag is likely serving his own interests. Spotting Gregor and offering him protection is one thing, but seeking him out? He has ulterior motives, possibly revenge based.

I like him on principle.

I think Gregor can pretty easily 1shot Cavalier E this turn. As is fairly obvious, they'll be surrounding us literally within next turn, but if I move I give up that stupidly high EVA and most likely get popped. My calculations:

I can 1shot Cavalier C ONLY if I crit with steel longbow.
Same with the axemen which is arguably more valuable as they has triangle advantage over gregor.
Swordmaster has stupidly high EVA, but it shouldn't be too bad if I stay in place.
I can't reach mage knight without moving to the left and giving up 12 Crt, 1 DAM/DEF etc. Not sure if I want to risk that. I can't double him to death, even with steel longbow.

Nah, see, it would play out like so (assuming Iron Lance):

Hit: 114+3 (1.5 alex support)-35 = 82
Hit roll: (Assuming hit)
Damage: 23-8=15 damage!

Cavalier E's on 13HP, so unless you just roll very poorly, you'd 1hit him. I say Iron Lance because it's your highest hit weapon.

Wouldn't the hit be higher than that? Alexander might be closer, but Charlotte has a higher support rank. Higher rank takes precedence over distance.
