Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Holy crap. With Emral dropping out, that means the only original mercenaries left are Derick and Ami.

Besides the problem we will lack the ability of stealing stuff or opening doors/chests. Unless we keep playing him on the maps.

...Technically, the rules are stupid here, with lockpicks that is. Only Thief Trainees can use lockpicks, that's it. Lockpicks require the "Use Lockpick" ability, which only they get. Nothing else.

EDIT: Well, upon further review, I think the book is assuming that the ability gets transferred down the Thief Trainee line, but that assumes the character was one once upon a time. The question is, if you start as a first class, do you get any abilities the class before you gets? Some games don't play with trainee classes...

And their promotions. Like how mounted units get horse/pegasi/wyvernback and dismount when it's only listed for their trainees.

Which reminds me to ask Haspen if I keep Reliable attack when I go Paladin.

EDIT: Edit-ninjad

You actually posted that faster than I edited.

But yeah, Chris can pick locks and stuff. But that's not really the important part though.

Emral, its sad that you have to drop but understandable. I wish you well on your endeavors, and want you to know that you have a spot waiting for you if you want back in.

You guys can keep Daniel in play.
But yeah, it was fun playing with you all. I hope you guys get a good end.
Honestly in retrospect my mistake was playing a thief. If I ever join again I'll go for a pure combat class. Much simpler.

We will be looking foward for your return. And hopefully we will have a good end, sooner or later they will find out they are being the villains.

I'm back, bitches.

Yay! And you took care of my secret PM's, too.

Blegh.
I honestly can't keep up with what's going on in this.
I think I will drop out later. I'll still update March (which IS being worked on i swear) but I don't have the energy to keep up with this.

* Haspen le frowns.

However that means I have to fix someone in Ch.5 to drop the...

:P

Before we notice, we will be the enemy boss fight of another team because of the things we had been doing.

Oooooooh :3

---

Also, I've decided that I will just LVL UP Charlotte with others instead of doin' something stranger. Less hassle for me and FFS, I guess.

So here we go!

Crud, the thief was faster than I thought she was, didn't know she could move six tiles. Darn my not-checking-her-stats! We can't do the shaman-shuffle now, no one is close enough.

Hm, things aren't looking good on preventing them from stealing the stuff from the chests, and I think its looking worse on preventing them from fleeing too. Darn.

If we do cause a bad thing, Ami would probable go dark Ami for a while.

I could go Dark Ami and frighted them away before they get the chests.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Oh, yeah. That question.

Chris being Chris, he wouldn't really care. Bad things happen. He would care about the people he has a Support with and how they deal with it, but he's not exactly the most warm-hearted individual around.
