Well, yeah I would too, it would be hilarious if done right, amusing even if just done. Really, if you think about it, Fire Emblem could easily be thought of as a large play done by a variety of actors. Each new chapter is a scene change, support an aside between the characters that the audience likes, all of it a drama. Would explain some of the silly stuff.

Well, that's why Chris is 'trying' to mold him into one. :3 Or to put it another way, he tends to do what he believes is best for the mission he's been given, and putting Gregor in charge would likely keep the group together with as little argument as possible... so he's going to push for that.
