Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

I going with a dark magic user for the next game.
I got a dark magic char already made scapheap :p
...A magic user then.
So many Shamans. Everybody loves Shamans.
Now might not be the best time to mention that I was considering statting up a magical girl Shaman in the vein of Amelia. :D
FEF: Magical Girl Edition. We could use another one anyway since 7th Platoon doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon, right? :P

Well, I guess I could change the orders. Still not sanguine about the prospect of imminent death >_>

Well, it's everyone's call.  Falling back is also perfectly reasonable - columns 11 on east have two-tile choke points we can use, and they can't do any damage to anything in between the choke points.  The only big issue will be that it'll let them regroup and come at us in one push.  We'll need to decide, though, since it'll determine if we want everyone in the south to move east or west before going north.

Once I'm done looting the domicile, I'm going to suicide charge Morko. Should be fun, and as a sword user, I can at least hope to soften him up for someone else to smash.

The real question is, should I burn my last bit of vulnerary first?

I don't even know if I should move closer, that archer looks like a problem even Mork if he decides to troll too.

Screw it, we'll hold position. We should have enough MOV to get away next turn, and Gregor should survive that blasted dark tome (assuming it hits). Everyone can take whichever path will get them to the enemy sooner, though probably up the middle would be best.

Might as well. Chris is moving closer as well, and the archer can only attack one of you.

I hate dilemmas. To move or to not move.

I'm a fan of the Theoden endgame, personally. Of course, my most recent D&D character was a dwarf who dual-wielded greataxes named Thunder and Lightning and murdered a pack of demonic wolves while he was stark naked. So, my observations and judgement aren't really what one would call 'sensible' or 'sane'.

This isn't really "endgame" though. Hell, we're only on Chapter 3 :|

We would be running around naked and using arms as weapons.

It'd be a hell of ride. Not a long one though.

In all seriousness, I 'can' do decent tactics, but without an R button  to slap every time I lock onto units, I get real lazy about checking enemy stats.

What, obsessively checking stats? That's not really a "problem" in this game :P
