When you think about it this totally makes sense for Prixima's character. I mean, thank God it wasn't something really pretty like daisies, she probably would have caught on fire.

Chris is a spy. Make him do sneaky things. Hire four gypsies to entice the guards away. Drop on both of them and crack their heads together. Throw a rock, or a penny.
Shouldn't be too hard to distract a pair of guards.  ;D

This isn't Constantinople, unfortunately. >.> Other than that I'm not going to antagonize Prixima by attacking her guards. Now, if the way had been open and a crossbow just happened to go missing and its absence wouldn't be noticed for a few days at least, that would be something else entirely. :P
