Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Just a little more and Tantallos is going to use that mask. *Cough promote too*

On other news, zerging is a option. Especially if they have a high chance of dodging.

I'm iffy on the Zerging too. The whole clinche in any of the plans is to minimize how many people he can berzerk, that's really the only trick to him, but no one can move from outside his range to inside in a single turn however which is a problem. Only person who can get close is Seyena, but she's still a square short. Tackling this guy is going to be hard and annoying, to put it simply, as the infantry have enough time to run interference with anyone in the way.

...I think Olison would be a good guy to go after him, because he can just pass through enemies, so the spearmen can't block his path, mages is another thing. People with high res knocks down that hit chance by quite a bit, the more they have the better, so Seyena and our magic users make good targets to go after him with... But--They're also going to be the most devastating if they go berserk because collectively we have little RES.

Sounds like Seyena is the best qualified to send in. Give her a javelin?

That would work quite well, give her a good javelin. Don't believe it would kill the mage right away however, sadly, but it would do quite well all the same, only problems would be the two soldiers and longbow men who would shortly befall her.

Hmm...what happens if a berserk unit is carrying someone? Would the carried unit get dropped?

I'm thinking Seyena pick up one of our heavy hitters and dash for the sage. She has high RES and Savior, so she won't lose any evade from Rescuing.

Ailment staves only call for target's RES and distance between the target and the caster. Evade does nothing here :P

...Really? Darn it, that means that guy has a really, really good chance of nailing people with that. Which makes him all the more worrying, because I was factoring evade into that, and even then he had a good chance.

If I'm not mistaken, there's around 85-90% chance that Alexander will get berserked.

Yep, 85%

When I wrote 65%, I thought evasion factored in.

(30+[{19-6}x5]+18)-(9x2) = (30+65+18)-(18) = 95%

...Charlotte can stop this! FFS needs to move Charlotte on the pillars(which no one moved to), initiate a trade with Alex, and take his iron lance.

Silly solution, but it will prevent a berserked Alex from doing harm.

EDIT: Yah forgot his +2 due to personal skill, should still work due to being near allies.

Oh right. 85% chance, then.

There's a minimal of 39 some contingencies the characters have to keep track of, not counting class skills and special skills. So many fiddly bits to keep track of I'm not sure how you remember most of them honestly, cause there's no way I'd remember to factor in that much.
