I'm somewhat torn over this... I need as many sage levels as possible to get the real good spells that it provides, but I want to still be effective stat wise, so I'm undecided if I should promote ASAP or wait until the end of the chapter and try to promote afterward...

Gah, I can't decide! I'll just stay as I am and decide the next time a guiding ring shows up.

Pretty sure BMM42 is correct. Alexander got one of the free timeskip promotes.

Haspen's generosity on the returning players' gold earnings is awfully suspicious. I have this weird feeling we'll be finding shops that sell one or two S rank weapons for 5000 gold apiece.
