Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Nevah! Dah helmet stays!

If I could, I'd have swappable sprites for it but eh. Reminds me, I got the new Salvatore sprite done, armor's bigger, looks better, and even has a red cape. I'm tempted to give another shot at a helmet, but I know I'll wind up sinking a few hours in it with only a sub-par result at the end.

Hm...

Well, I have an idea, and it may or may not work:

Get a reference that is similar to the angle that Salvatore is looking at, with a helmet of the style you want for him.

Put Salvatore on one layer, helmet stock on a 2nd, and use a 3rd. Resize the helmet over his head, use transparency or w/e to make it look right, and start tracing/copying it in pixel form.

Man, all this talk of spriting/wearing I wish I could sprite like some of you guys. Spriting is way harder than drawing IMO.

Honestly, I find spriting a lot easier than drawing.

Still doesn't mean I'm good at it, but hey, a guy can dream.

I thought they didn't know each other well?
Bingo. My assumption was that Alexander mostly hung out with his fellow knights, while Gregor mostly hung out with his fellow soldiers.

...I don't know why my phone randomly decided to capitalize hung O_o

I wish I could draw OR sprite. OR anything visually artistic.
Also, weren't we trying to set up the whole friendly rivalry thing with Gregor and Alexander earlier?
Lemme look up the posts, because that was a conversation we were definitely having.

I can't sprite worth a darn, I'm still wondering how I got such a good result with Alden. Can't draw much worth a darn too, beyond those once-in-a-blue-moon moments I somehow churn out something I'm happy with, which I'm chalking Alden up to.

Also, someone should go try to cheer up Alex. Sal would blunder into it, but he's currently too busy talking about wyverns to get punched in the face.
