Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Is this some kind of quick draw combat? Seriously, that was freaking fast.

It doesn't take me long to add transparencies with this program unless I have to re-add the outlines. I can open a blank file, copy the image, get rid of the background, resize to better fit the image, and save in about two minutes.

Pshhhft

All I have to do is make a new layer from background color and then delete it.

Has anybody ever noticed that Bay12 seems primarily populated by ninja/wizards?

@BMM: Yes. It has baffled and caused me awe to this day.

How long have you all been spriting? I can only guess a while if you're this good at it. I recolor stuff semi-successfully, but that's about the extent of it. I'm mostly curious as how you guys do hair so well, I haven't got Sal's done to my satisfaction but don't know how to proceed without making everything horrible forever about it.

What exactly are you trying to do with his hair?

My first half-decent sprites ever were the battle sprites linked in the OP. So I guess I've been doing this for...a month? Two? How long has this been going on now? O_o

Hah, I can only perform entry level frankensteining and recolors. Anything beyond that, including decent facial expressions, is really beyond me.

I'm working on my drawn art again, but I forgot that I cannot draw feet or hands to save my life. Seriously, my boots look like they came out of sbahj.

Wow, a lot has been going on while I've been working on this. XD Thanks for all the praise, guys. I'll just post up the rest of Efa here since Powder posted her image. ^^^

Spoiler: All Efa, all the time. (click to show/hide)

Also for my spriting experience, I've been doing it on and mostly off for about seven years; started with making sets for RPGMaker XP and went from there. :P

EDIT: I doubt anyone is going to go back and look, but I meant RM2K, not RMXP. @_@

I've been thinking of doing a crew-cut like hair cut, something short like that, but I can't quite pull it off without it looking, well, weird. If the face was looking dead on, I might be able to do it, but its looking off at the side so perspectives always look screwy to me.

So far what I've did with it is just trim off all the excess spikes. I've learned that FE sprites apparently love their hair spikes, and make me wonder as to their MT, WT, and QL.
