Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

That may be because nothing has survived to counter attack for the past three chapters.

I would imagine that crash landing on mountains would be about the same as doing so anywhere else, just with more difficulty being rescued. As for oceans... maybe after 3 turns, natural buoyancy gives out?
I just suddenly remembered that I have Cancel and have no idea if it's ever been accounted for before.

Don't most people that you attack explode into piles of severed limbs?

Well yes, but I suddenly realized that it never got brought up even before Derick became awesome and then I was thinking about what happened a couple turns ago and I forgot stuff I don't know where I'm going with this anymore.

EDIT: Oh nevermind it got used once before and I forgot because of stuff. Just forget this conversation ever happened.

You forgot to remember that you shouldn't forget about your skill? But yeah, this is one of those moments that failed rolls that are showed would be nice, so you at least know that it was considered.

Also, what are we going to do when the awesome sword of crititude gets borked? Its at least half broke right now, I'd wager. Hopefully someone has a backup.

I keep wishing for a Reignleif, even though it doesn't have the same crit-ownage that Derick's Shamshir does. That knight would have been dead by now if Gregor had one.

Not that I know of. We don't even have Killer or Reaver weapons yet.

That is a brilliant idea, but you'd have to keep a close eye on it. I don't think Haspen modifies the QL until after the chapter is done, which could be useful in that you may be able to get an extra swing or two out of the weapon, but you won't know the exact number unless you count yourself.

I'm personally hoping I get a killer lance. Dat 30 crit rate, my 10 crit rate personal, they are meant to be together. That, or a Dragon's Fang. I can do with me some delicious Dragon's Fang. But alas, we are probably never going to find one. I haven't really seen any pole weapons, thinking on it.

Then I must take them from their dessicated corpses! ...Or find a way to use their dessicated corpses as weapons!

I just want something with good MT.

If you want some good damage, Pole weapons are the way to go, funny enough. I'd figure you would go with spear weapons though, since with your range and the ability to force people to not be able to enter melee range with you, you'd gain immunity to range one weapons while still being able to strike them.

One promoted sprite is done. That took longer than I'd have liked, but I wanted to give it a cool custom pose >_>

Cool stuffs Gregor, I think I will go easy on you this chapter v:

On a random tangent, I just had a thought. What happens if you reach zero health on a tile that is usually impassable? Like, say, Salvatore or Seyena reach zero health on a mountain or ocean tile, or whatever other impassable tile? Would they crash land on an actually movable tile, or would they be stuck there at the mercy of the others finishing the map or someone who can fly getting them off of it?

If it's water at least two tiles away from ground, they insta-die from drowning. If it's a mountain or cliffside or something, I will make them tumbleroll toward the closest and possibly lowest ground tile in general direction of the party.

The first ain't gonna happen in FEF I presume, and the second will be rare thing.

Note to self: Avoid the water at all costs unless I am pirate. Actually, this probably won't fix it.
