Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Personally, I'd move next to the wall seperating your group from the hallway that several swordsmen seem to be heading for. It'll be a turkey shoot if a decent melee unit like Alexander can block their way.

Well, you could use your concoction to heal someone, but with Ami coming I don't think that's too necessary. However, with the recent chatting it seems people will be advancing on your positions, so it may be good to get people up and ready to fight again as fast as you can. If you feel safe attacking, go for it as the worst you can get is poisoned, but that can be pretty bad by itself if left untreated.

My thoughts on the situation.

EDIT: Just looked, you're gonna get bum rushed by people. Might be good to use the concoction on Alexander to get him in top fighting condition so he can hold a choke-point where mages can't get him.

This.

We need Gregor or Alexander plugging that hole FAST, or we'll get creamed.

Yeah, funny thing I actually asked about that earlier if you guys ever saw him in Fezz when I was reading up on that. I saw now, having caught up on the IC, that you never did, but I do wonder if you guys will see him again. He's a named character after all, and unless you bum-rushed to him there wasn't a way to get to him, so I figure he's probably plot-relevant.

EDIT: Yeah, if you guys can get Alexander plugging that hole, it will force them into a firing line where all of our ranged people can tag them. Alexander will probably take a hit though from a mage, after re-looking at it, but with full health he can tank it.

Gregor's way far away and currently occupied with murdering a knight. Alexander will have to do the job, or Olison who's nearby.

Bores?

Who's that again?

Way back in Chapter 1, before Seyena joined. Check the recap in the first post for details.

I should probably plug the hole- I have 18 defense if I'm within three spaces of you guys, which is enough to ensure that only mages will be doing me serious damage- or maybe the fighters f they crit, and which is enough to totally cancel out any archers or swords.

Olison's too far and already did stuff. Alexander just got brought up this round, so he can't plug the hole currently. So the hole isn't gonna get plugged now... But this is what I see will happen.

They'll all rush into the corridor, so you want to move away from the wall to not get pinged by a mage. The furthest spot they can get to is 20.13, with a myrmidon holding that position. If you get Alexander fully healed up this turn, and everyone away from the wall, you can choke them into that tight corridor until the others arrive.

Bores is the chapter one shaman.

Yes, next turn is what I meant. They can't get into actual attack range yet.

Well, a mage can smack Daniel around with his magic if he doesn't move, but yeah you guys are safe this turn thankfully. You can even set up for a devastating ranged assault next turn, a really nasty one.

Aiee. There's a mage AND a shaman in that group, I'll need someone to back me up at the choke.

Calculate those attack ranges, folks. Keep just outside them and deal a devastating counterattack next turn. Just like the video games.

Eh. It really depends on if the mages are in the front of the corridor group or not- if they are, we should send some high damage guys. If not, I can plug the hole.

We really can't hit all of these guys at once.

Only Daniel needs to move to avoid any hits, everyone else is fine and out of range. The mages can't reach far enough to stand behind the guy at the door that Alex will be blocking, although the turn after that he may be able to switch positions with someone. If people target the mages, they'll fall over like a house of cards.

You know that Haspen will run the enemy movements in whichever way will deal us the most pain. Don't try to use Alexander to plug a hole on the off-chance that a swordsman will move first :P

The mage should be easily dealt with by our shamans, or a good melee attack or two.
