Speaking of innate but weird things, I've been wondering how the Wyvern Rider skill affects its user. I know it makes lightning effective against them, and they take less damage from wind and fire magic, but it affects them on and off the wyvern. What exactly happens there?

Do wyverns give off some sort of magical radiation that changes its rider? Does it have to do something with the bond between rider and wyvern? It mentioned in the Wyvern Knight class that the bond is greater, and with the new change they're even more resistant to magic, so it may have some grounds there thanks to the class changes.

Also, I'm not sure if I should trust Haspen with what he just said, or not when dealing with survival.

You'd think that the rider wouldn't be vulnerable to thunder magic when off, yet they are by the skill. The skill makes no mention of it changing whether on or off the wyvern, thus it stays on all the time. Which is kind of weird, and why I made the comment on wondering what happens.

Also, wind magic is effective to everything flying creature under the sun according to the handbook.

I'm kinda hoping it does, if for nothing else than something interesting to ponder on and the sweet, sweet RES bonus. Makes me question though if a Pegasus Rider would lose their cloud walking ability when not mounted also though, although it doesn't apply nearly as much if they're not mounted.

What Daniel should do is largely dependent on if Riven can kill the mage. If yes, and does, he should bring Alexander back. If not, or couldn't, he should attempt to kill the mage himself if he has a good shot at it.
